Sponsorship program

We would like to request generous financial support for the organization of GreenSys 2009, the most important scientific and technical symposium to be held in North America. This major event for the Québec and Canadian greenhouse industry will be held from June 14 to 19, 2009 at the Hotel Loews Le Concorde in Québec City. We hope to bring together between 500 and 800 scientists, growers, crop advisors and manufacturers involved in the greenhouse sector from more than 30 countries. A significant part of the  program will pertain specifically to growers and others involved in the greenhouse industry.

Organized by the Horticulture Research Center at Université Laval, this event is sponsored by the International Society for Horticulture Science who will publish the conference proceedings in an impressive volume of Acta Horticulturae, the pillar of scientific and technical literature on horticulture.

The sponsorship program for financial support attached with this letter presents the different options offered and the visibility associated with each contribution level.  The financial contributions received will not only help to defray costs related to hosting internationally renowned speakers but will also offer an outstanding event of the highest quality.  Sponsors will also benefit directly through our communication and E-marketing system by being able to establish contacts with numerous international specialists.

The symposium will feature environmental aspects and innovative technologies concerning greenhouse design, climate control, cultural practices, pest management, hydroponics and substrates, etc.

Please accept our deepest appreciation for your kind consideration to our request.

The Co-chairs for GreenSys 2009,

André Gosselin            Martine Dorais
